My name is Austin Ketola, I'm a junior at NC State studying Computer Engineering and Economics and the founder of TutorSmith. I love teaching, especially math, and have experience tutoring and being a TA up to AP Calculus BC. In my free time, I love playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, and doing Crossfit. As a high school student, I tutored peers in my neighborhood, but when I looked to become an online tutor I found that existing online tutoring services were expensive and restricted to college-degree holders. Years later, when an entrepreneurship class presented an opportunity, I embarked on the journey to create an innovative and affordable tutoring company. Our vision emerged: connecting talented tutors with eager learners, and delivering high-quality education without the burden of excessive costs. Today, we stand committed to providing exceptional and affordable learning experiences, ensuring that financial constraints never hinder a student's chance to excel.
